Kelly is a Bubble developer, designer, and educator who has been building, teaching, and coaching on the platform since 2021. With a background in both data management and design, she brings a rare mix of technical skill and creative eye to every project, turning high-level ideas into polished, user-friendly, well-structured apps. Before discovering Bubble, Kelly spent about 15 years working in small nonprofits, handling general operations, creating and managing constituent databases, and serving as in-house designer - a side skill she eventually developed into a full-time freelance career as a branding specialist and web designer. Since shifting to Bubble, she has worked with literally hundreds of founders as a contract builder, 1:1 coach, and as the technical instructor of Bubble's Immerse program for underrepresented founders. She has been a featured speaker at several no-code conferences and events, has organized a number of popular events herself, and is also widely-known in the Bubble world for her relentless advocacy of an improved builder experience. As a coach, Kelly's strongest skill lies in her ability to inhabit a beginner's mindset and break down the intricacies of a complex platform like Bubble in an accessible way. She welcomes "dumb" questions and loves coaching beginners who value future-focused building over quick tricks that won't scale in the long term. Her coaching clients appreciate her for her approachability, humor, and especially her empathy for how hard learning complex new processes can be.
